It seems like the most recent trend in web design is to figure out exactly what you want to say, find an excellent photo of who you’re talking about and otherwise shut the fuck up.
I like this trend. I hope it continues.

It’s really interesting to see how band websites developed since I started browsing through them ten years ago. I remember checking the website of Super Furry Animals around 2003 and being completely lost in some kind of videogame flash site. I am glad these days are over and I can choose when to listen to a song and easily find all the info I want fast.
I really like the simplicity of these new sites like this one or thesixtyone, which I like a lot. I think it might even have the potential to replace myspace. (when will this site finally die?). Personal blogs and sites have become so easy to set up plus you can use the benefits of all social media on them. Add a nice picture and some mp3s and there is no need anymore to have anything else..
